Electric Vehicle(EV) of FlatField

Electric Vehicle:EV

Zero-Emissions = No Exhaust Fumes
We are researching and developing “Electric Vehicle” which can reduce driving carbon dioxide emission to zero.

Electric Vehicle 8:Mie Kotsu Co.,Ltd.

The base model of the bus is ISUZU ERGA, and it’s ride capacity is 75 people. Electric apparatus, such as a battery, are stored inside engine room.Without reducing a seat in the car.As a result, can secure capacity same as a standard car. And by loading 1500W100V power supply,it equipped with the power supply at the time of the disaster.

Started business service in March 31,2014. It operates 8 times in a day,as Bus on a regular route, during ISE Shrine and Nearest station.

Electric Vehicle 7:TOSHIBA Corporation.

We converted two EV buses for demonstration experiment of a project organised by Ministry of the Environment ,which is based on initiative of ORIENTAL CONSULTANTS Co.,Ltd. And TOSHIBA Corporation.

Since March 2014, After this demonstration experiment of the project, they are carried out circulation operation in minato-ku,Tokyo as a Loop-line bus
「Chii Bus」. The base model of the bus is Hino Poncho, and it’s ride capacity is 36 people.

Electric Vehicle 6 : Northern Iwate Transportation Inc.

This bus was developed as a part of project organized by Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism in FY2012, and delivered to Northern Iwate Transportation Inc. through Toyota Tsusho Corporation.

The base model of the bus is Hino Rainbow, and its seating capacity is 54 passengers. Since electric devices, such as a battery, are stored in the engine room, there is no interior changes. And by loading 1500W100V power supply, it could be used as a power supply in case of an emergency.

It operates as a route bus around JR Miyako Station during weekdays, and in the weekends operates as loop line bus in Jodogahama. Also, it is planned to be used as sightseeing event bus between summer to autumn.

We designed and developed an electric bus for demonstration experiment of a project organised by Ministry of the Environment, which is handled by Waseda University together with city of Nagano in Nagano pref.

The base model of the bus is Hino Poncho, and its seating capacity is 31 passengers. The concepts of the bus, which is as same as WEB-3 of Waseda University, were for short distance drive and high frequency battery charge, and it could be charged by plug-in or noncontact charger system.

It finished demonstration experiment on March 31,2014. From October 2014, It will be due to operate as Loop-line bus 「Gururin-go」 in the central city area of nagano-city.

【 WEB-3 is in service 】

WEB-3 has been registered as same demonstration experiment as above, and is in service. These 2 buses are routed around Nagano Station.

The bus was introduced as a pickup bus for guided tour of Natural Mineral Water factory in Hakushu distillery of Suntory Holdings Limited.

It is making a round trip of about 1.6km between the reception and the Natural Mineral Water factory. The battery is recharged at 2 rapid charger stations within the factory which is generated by solar panels.

The interior of the bus is white-themed as a request of Suntory Holdings Limited to show a sense of cleanliness. The batteries could be seen from a little window at the back of the bus, and a monitor above the window shows battery levels, in such a way that passengers could feel a close connection to the electric vehicle and the clean energy.

The bus is loaded with a 100V socket for 1500W, and charged battery could be used as emergency electric power source.

Electric Vehicle 2 : Shichinohe, Aomori pref.

Example of Electric Vehicle2

An electric bus, which we have developed, was delivered to Shichinohe in Aomori pref. by Toyota Tsusho Corporation for the opening of the entire length of Touhoku Shinkansen followed by opening of Shichinohe-Towada Station in December 2010.

Currently the bus is being used as community bus. It has seating for 25 passengers, and the base model of the bus is Hino Liesse. It is loaded with a 100V socket for 1500W and charged battery could be used for other usages.

Shichinohe Environmental Energy Project, which includes introduction of this electric bus, has been awarded "New Energy Award in FY2011". The bus is currently run by Towada Kanko Dentetsu.

Electric Vehicle 1 : Waseda University (WEB-3)

Example of Electric Vehicle 1

We have designed and developed an electric vehicle for Waseda University through “Dissemination Program for Environmental Advanced Technology” which was organised by Ministry of the Environment in FY2009.

About WEB-3...

The concepts of the bus were for short distance drive and for high frequency battery charge, and it equips the latest noncontact charger system and lithium-ion rechargeable battery.
And also it was designed to pass new regulation for the electric vehicle, which will come into effect in FY2012.
